September 26, 2008 4th Grade Friday Letter

Dear parents,

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for all the Autumnfest grocery donations! Our
class won first place! See the newsletter for the free tag day in October. We also receive
$50 for the classroom, which we will spend later this year.

I also appreciate all the help offered to Mrs. Matthews for Saturday's booth. I think we're
fully stocked with adult and student volunteers. Our booth is the Country Store. Feel free
 to come out to the dinner and bingo Friday night, as well.

This week, we were very fortunate to have Mrs. Prud'homme come into the classroom. I stayed for half of the day, and she finished the day with the students. This is more good preparation for my absence. Don't forget some of the normal routine items while I am on maternity leave:

- reading logs signed

- send lunch money in marked envelopes

- check planners nightly

- study two or three days before tests.
