Dear Parents,

I have really felt like a parent to all 17 children in my class this week. That sounds a little strange. I know. But, I have gone through something that all parents go through with their children. On Tuesday, I went home frustrated with several children who were not putting
 their best effort into their work. I was really frustrated and spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to get their attention and interest. Then on Wednesday, I came to school with a little sore throat and lost my voice. I could barely talk on Wednesday afternoon or all day Thursday. Your children were extremely well behaved. They listened really well even when I was almost whispering. I thought this is much like being a parent. At times it seems we are very frustrated with our children and then the next day they impress you with something
great.

This weekend, is going to be long and exciting. I hope to see many of you at Autumnfest. I will be here Friday night for Bingo. I think it will be great fun.

I would like to also thank all of you who are volunteering in some way. Lastly, I want to commend Mrs. Coppock and Mrs. Fontcuberta. They put a lot of time and thought into decorating our booth in a creative way. Also, your children have all put time into helping with their decorations. Please come out so they can show you theirs.

Test Schedule:

Monday-- The children will bring home a study guide for Social Studies.

Wednesday-- The children will bring home a study guide for Science. We will also take our Social Studies test on this day.

Thursday—We will take our fact quiz over the doubles plus 1 facts.

Friday --- We will take our Vocabulary test and we will take our Science test.
