September 26, 2008 3rd Grade Friday Letter

Dear Parents,

Thanks so much to those of you willing to work at Autumnfest. I look forward to seeing everyone on Friday evening at the bingo and/or Saturday afternoon for all the fun and games.

We are having a bit of a problem with behavior in our classroom. We have rules that the children are having trouble following (stay in your seat, raise your hand to talk). I don't think these are rules they should find difficult to follow. The students bring home a folder each evening with their homework assignments. They will now also have a note in the folder stating how many times their name was on the board that day and why. I will need you to sign this note as not all students share these notes with their parents. Thank you for your help in this matter.

Don't forget Box Tops. Please send them in soon. We will have a count on September 30th to see which class has the most so far.
